Well there has been some progress on my craft room on Wednesday we had 3 cubic metres of cement delivered and on Saturday my lovely hubby along with the help on our son helped start to put it together.
Base practically finished just need it to dry before it rains!
so its now up and looking good just need some windows and felt on roof and then we can start on the inside.
This is just a very quick post so that I can show you all my new craft room that has been delivered this morning!
I know its flat packed but I am waiting patiently for my husband to get a concrete base down which hopefully will happen in next week or so and then it can be put together ready for insulation, heating, lighting etc before I can finally move in.
I hope to post on here every step of the way, so watch out for more to come!
I just can't believe where the time goes I know I have been struggling with my internet connection recently apart from that on my phone but can't blog from that, so I apologise for not uploading some of my demo projects for Sept/Oct but hopefully you will have seen most of them through my Docrafts Gallery.
Also I have really got into beading recently so need to take some photos and get those uploaded as well especially the new beads that I bought last weekend at the Bead Show in Cardiff.
Well this is the first week of my holidays to spend with the kids and look at the weather where has the sun gone???
Anyway it has been a mixed week, some time spent at home catching up on ironing and things and the rest of the week I have been taking Vanessa to and from her tennis tournament at Burnham on Sea where she has played in both the U14 and U16 events. Yesterday she won the U14 Consolation event and we are currently waiting for a phone call to confirm when she is expected for the U14 doubles event (but it is raining again!!)
Ashley is enjoying the last few weeks of being at home before he goes to 6th Form and we are also waiting for the results of his GCSE's so tense times all round at the moment.
Well it was my son's last day of official secondary school today and he is off out tonight partying with his friends (in the rain I hasten to add!)
It only seems like yesterday that he was starting at secondary school and now all his GCSE's are done as well as one A level a year early and now he has 14 weeks off before he starts 6th Form in September!
Hopefully he has done will in his exams and now I can leave him loads of jobs to do around the house unless he gets the job he interviewed for last week!
Well I can't believe that my baby has turned 16 where did all those years go? It only seems like yesterday that he was toddling around and now he's all grown up.
For his birthday we went paintballing (yes including me and I have loads of bruises to prove it!)
He's the one in the middle!
My next demo for Do Crafts is at Carole's Crafts in Cardiff tomorrow, 4th June and I am looking forward to seeing some new faces and hopefully some familiar ones too. Sounds like I will be glass painting most of the day plus obviously showing off the new Tatty Teddy and Tulip products. The store will be taking orders for any products that are not available, so make sure you have your money ready.
I have been having all sorts of problems with my blog and now I can't seem to get onto my dashboard at all sometimes I wonder why I bother and then I remember I am trying to keep everyone updated with my ongoings. I will keep trying but please bear with me.
I know its been a while since last posting and I keep meaning to post and then it just doesn't happen, so hopefully you will forgive me when you see what I have been up to.
Chainmaille Earrings - I made these hoping they would go in as project of the week for Do Crafts but it appears they didn't make it in, so am sharing with you all.
These are some of my latest demo cards for February and March, the rest can be seen through my gallery on the Do Crafts website - www.docrafts.com/Helen1
